A FAMILY COMPANY

RedBird Farms is a privately held family company that has been under the same ownership for 30 years. Established in 1949, the company was purchased by Mareo Torito in 1990, who is a shining example of the American dream.  He came to the USA at the age of 18 and worked his way up from being a butcher to starting a restaurant business and ultimately owning RedBird Farms.

Family values are the center of RedBird's philosophy for a successful business. Since RedBird’s inception, the company’s strength has always been centered on people. High employee retention has created a strong work environment.

Approximately 60% of RedBed Bird employees have been here for eight years or more, with production supervisors on staff averaging 10 years or more. And finally, RedBird’s longest lasting employee has been here for 39 years! We believe this longevity reflects a family-oriented company that values its staff above all else. A  skilled and experienced team creates the best product.

Ultimately, this emphasis on people is the trademark of today’s operations. RedBird Farms is very progressive in our product line but we remain consistent with the personnel. This powerful team has moved RedBird towards some very innovative changes.

COLORADO PROUD

As RedBird Farms is proud of our heritage, we are also proud to be a part of Colorado Proud. To learn more about Colorado Proud click here.

CHARITABLE GIVING

RedBird Farms is eager to feed the needs of those can use it most. Therefore, in an effort to give back, we’ve partnered with many charitable organizations. After all, RedBird Farms firmly believes in giving back: as Thomas Fuller says, “Charity begins at home, but should not end there.”

Some of the organizations we've worked with include: Heroes Forever, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Treasure House of Hope, Greater Park Hill Community, Integrated Family Community Services, Ms. Betty’s Grandson, The Joy Bus Diner and Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado.  Of course, this only begins to scratch the surface.  Stay in touch with our community partnerships by following us on social media.  If you're interested in a partnership, please email RedBird at info@redbirdfarms.com.

EDUCATION

The foundation for a strong community lies in education. As RedBird firmly subscribes to this theory, we work hard to educate people on the RedBird product and process. A few examples of this are ACF Colorado Culinary Association, Emily Griffith Technical College, Grandview High School, Metropolitan State University, Smoky Hill High School and The Denver Street School. If you're an educational institution interested in partnering with RedBird, please reach out at info@redbirdfarms.com.

EVENTS

At RedBird Farms we are able to give back by participation in events in our communities. These events allow for engagement with the great organizations who continually do amazing things for people in need. Just to list a few examples as these are  ACFCCA Golf Tournament , Celebrate Golf Day, Nibbles & Sips and the Pro Start Golf Classic. If you're interested in partnering please email RedBird at info@redbirdfarms.com.
